It was a trio on Sunday night... Kristie Lee was home celebrating Mother's Day, and Alan was, uh, not celebrating a broken foot! That's right - 'your gigolo', Alan Bigelow' is, gonna be outta commission for a while - so Joe Chicarelli; Joe Mitch; and Randy Andy held down the fort!
So, with no song cards, we wrote our requests on napkins -- so 1980's... And, it turns out that they did hire a weeken cook for Kenny's -- maybe he'll be there next weekend...
The night started out with Rockstar 'accusing' the blogstress of being a (gasp!), a 'chair stealer'! Then there was a joke about musical chairs, and ending up on the floor, and hilarity ensued.
Then Liza, from 'Liza and the Wonderwheels' (Randy Andy's also a Wonderwheel) started us off with Cindi Lauper's, "Time After Time"; Rockstar Richard sang "Under the Bridge", while Ryan did some falsetto backup; the Reverend Colin sang "Easy"; Davey Monster "Let It Roll"; and Rebecca sang some Alanis Morrissette.

Marky Mark sang 'Blue Suede Shoes'; Christine Kern and Rockstar did a duet to "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around"; Dylan went onto the 'temporary list' with some Violent Femmes; Showtime Shon sang "Maggie May"; and Selene rocked out with "Bitch". Any reason for uh, asking the blogstress if she's ever sang that song?? Hmmm, lol!
Corey Lim channeled Charlotte Church's version of "Imagine"; Ben sang "Brandy" (You're a fine girl); I sang "Fever" -- shout out to Joe Mitch's awesome drumming on that!!
KRISTINA
"Never know how much I love you
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I give you fever that's so hard to bare
You give me fever..."
JOE MITCH'S DRUMS
"Ba-dow-chhh-da dum--BAH!"
KRISTINA
"Oh..."
Ahem...Anyway, for the first time since I've been going to CCK (almost 4 yrs. now), a CCK 'newbie', David rocked-the-heck-out of 311's "Down". Yay!! So glad to hear someone sing:
DAVID
"Keep my feet on the ground
It looked like the CCK trio was into it too!
Mo, ('Mo-money-mo-problems') crooned "Stand By Me"; Joe Mitch went off the list, and sang "More Than A Woman"; Jeanette sang "Love Will Keep Us Together"; John D. rocked out another song off the list, Alice in Chains' "Man in a Box" -- who knew that Showtime Shon & I could go 'Dancing to the Stars' to even THAT song! Selene called upon her inner-Tina, while Rockstar called upon his inner Ike (sans the smackdown), and sang "Proud Mary"; Nick sang some "Sweet Home Alabama"; and Myron tore it up with "Smells Like Teen Spirit"!
Ok folks, 'til next Sunday...
Your blogstress,
Kristina ;)

Keep my head in the clouds
Electrified by the sound
Comes from the down"
