Grammy's were on, but so was CCK at Kenny's!

Showtime Shon, and your Blogstress

The evening started out with Richard, Christine, Bran-DOHN, Showtime Shon, Reverend Colin and I sitting in the same area at Kenny's, some of us eating;drinking; and choosing songs from the book, yet all in our own worlds, having our own conversations:

"What should I sing?" "Are there any cards?" "Scoot over will ya?" "Brandon could you get us some cards?" "Any requests?" "Can you pass the salt?" "Are there any new songs this week?" "What's beeping, is it me?" "Brandon, could you get us some MORE cards?"

"Can I have some fries?"
"Um, excuse me, didn't you already have some?"
"Should I sing Sabotage?"
(sound of crickets)

Anyway, Ryan started the evening with "Better Man"; Rockstar sang some Pink Floyd; Showtime Shon sang "Mr. Brightside"; and Kenny's own Walker Fee gave us some Led Zepplin!

Ryan - rockin' out...

The Reverend Colin

Bran-DOHN and fam...!
Kat sang "Stay"; Bran- DOHN belted "I Saw Her Standing There"; John D. killed with "Roxanne"; Corey Lim belted "Since U Been Gone";
and Marky Mark had the folks up and dancing with "Hound Dog"!

Joe 'Chica-chica-chicarelli's doppelganger', Edgar took the stage:
Uncanny!
And contrary to popular belief, Marky Mark & I did not call each other before heading to Kenny's on Sun. night, to see what the other was wearing:
The 'Red Shirt' Club

Davy Monster sang "Enter Sandman"; Kathy crooned "One of Us"; and someone who's name I can't read in my notes sang "Preacher Man". Christine belted "Somebody To Love", and both she and Rockstar rocked out "Tangled Up in Blue".

Natalia, rockin' it out, yo!
Troy & Erin - newbies to Kenny's
The crowd at Kenny's!

Singing '99 Red Balloons' in honor of my red shirt!
"...I'm all alone, and standing pretty..."
(Randy Andy and Alan, tittering behind me)
Me:
"Why are you laughing at my saying 'I'm standing pretty'?
"...In this land that was the city..."

John D. & I after our Aruba conversation (Yes, I know you're going w/Mrs. D...:)

Mark West gave a rip roaring performance of "Drift Away"; a trio got up and sang "Don't Stop Believin'"; Bobby sang "All Along the Watchtower"; and Showtime Shon gave a rousing performance of "Mustang Sally", complete with going from the stage to the floor, landing on his knee caps!! OOWWWW!!

Go Alan!

Ok then, see ya next Sunday!!

Kristina ;)
